Our role in assisting charities
Sustainable Practices in Clothing Redistribution
Charl International plays a crucial role in assisting charities by ensuring that every piece of clothing donated serves a purpose. One of the greatest challenges that charities face, is the overwhelming number of clothing donations that they receive, this is where we come in.
We have a partnership with several charities where we process and sort the items donated to them. When items arrive at our facilities, they are carefully evaluated and sorted to identify the best possible use, supporting not only those in need but also the charities that we partner with.

Sorting for success: categorizing donations for maximum impact
Articles of clothing that are in good condition are upcycled and passed on to charity op-shops, to be sold to Australian families. This provides charities with a great source of funding and ensures that Australian families have access to affordable clothing.
Garments that can still be worn but not ideal for resale are directly distributed to communities in developing countries, providing essential clothing to those in need.
The clothes that are not in a wearable condition are downcycled and processed into rags for commercial and industrial use.
